Our Story…in Short
Hi, My name is Tali. My partner of 21 years and I are vegan for over 15 years. We have 2 kids, and when our daughter was diagnosed with Celiac and Gluten intolerance at the age of 3.5, food became something we had to think about much more every single day.
It was a new world for us to start knowing about.
At 2023 we relocated to Koh Phangan. Our daughter was 7 years old at the time.
We faced a real challenge:
limited availability, very few supermarket options, and almost nothing that truly works for kids.
Yes, we ordered products online —
but after 3 years of experience, we can tell you honestly:
it’s not a real solution. Basic items like gluten-free bread, buns, or cereals are not always in stock.
Frozen gluten-free products don’t arrive frozen by the time they reach the island, and vegan items like cheeses and yogurts often don’t stay properly chilled.
Deliveries are expensive, frequently delayed, and sometimes even canceled. Waiting days (or longer) for simple everyday food just isn’t practical — MOST importantly, many products aren’t available for delivery to the island at all.
